Enjoy winter in the winter paradise of Petzen, located just a few kilometers from Lake Pirkdorf. At the "Top of Southern Carinthia," nothing stands in the way of a perfect ski vacation for the whole family. Views, family fun, and activities are the focus of the Petzen ski area. As a true insider tip for your ski vacation in Austria, the perfectly groomed slopes are never crowded, and relaxation and rejuvenation, surrounded by a stunning winter panorama, are the order of the day. With 15 kilometers of slopes of varying difficulty, there's something for everyone. Even the youngest skiers can explore the slopes using the magic carpet lift. At the Petzen Ski School, you can learn to make your first tracks in the snow under professional instruction. A ski and snowboard rental shop is located at the valley station.

A hidden gem for all winter campers in Austria! Our campsite is just a short drive from the Petzen ski resort in southern Carinthia. We offer our guests a variety of accommodations, even in winter: rooms with breakfast or half-board, camping pitches, chalets, and tiny houses at our glamping resort on Lake Pirkdorf.

Skiing

The Petzen ski resort is located just a few minutes from Lake Pirkdorf and is the perfect ski resort for the whole family.
Cross-country skiing

Right next to our campsite is the Pirkdorfer See cross-country skiing arena with five kilometers of snow-covered trails and floodlights.

The breathtaking view from our restaurant on the Petzen mountain brings you a little closer to heaven. At 1,708 meters above sea level, against the stunning backdrop of the Jaun Valley, we pamper our guests.
Petzen Nest

The cozy hut near the valley station at the foot of the Petzen is a popular meeting place for skiers and hikers in summer and winter after a sporty day on the mountain.

Snowshoeing

Enjoy a snowshoe hike through the enchanting winter landscape of the Petzen mountain at an altitude of over 1,700 meters.
Ski tours

For a small fee, ski tourers can use the parking lot and climb the mountain on the marked routes.
Indor Pool Ravne

The 25 x 10 m indoor swimming pool has a water depth of 90 to 160 cm and a comfortable water temperature of a constant 29.5–30 °C. A whirlpool and a children's pool have recently been added.
Sledging
